In the energy efficiency marketplace there are experts of all types including government agencies, industry groups representing a wide variety of solutions (products), public utilities and most recently groups of individuals with varying interests in the environment, sustainability, global warming and other socially critical causes.
There is no dearth of opinions on energy audits and ways to save energy. We have found that much of the information is either so complex as to be incomprehensible or so simple minded to be of little use. And then there are the single solution experts that want to convince you to install new windows or a new furnace or whatever as the way to reduce your energy costs.
